A picture window gives you views of scenery you won’t find anywhere on land, all from the comfort of your stateroom. The available on all Fun ships Chef's Table is a dining experience that affords a dozen guests to experience multicourse dinner with the master chef, private cocktail reception and a tour of the galley. This dining option usually takes place in a non-traditional venue, like the library or the galley, and can be booked onboard for US$75 per person. Not all passengers participate in formal night; passengers who wish to skip it can dine at the Lido Restaurant wearing casual clothing instead.

Where does Carnival Horizon sail to?
The cabin bathroom was a traditional size as other ships we’ve sailed, which is to say it is small but manageable. It features a counter, shelves for toiletries, a commode and standing shower. There was also a makeup mirror that folded in and out to save space. Cove balconies sit below hanging lifeboats and above ocean-view cabins, meaning guests in staterooms with cove balconies enjoy an added level of privacy, as no one can see onto the balcony from either above or below. Additionally, the balcony railings are enclosed, to prevent interruptions from either side.
Other watering holes are located next to the theater, in the casino, by the pool, in the adults-only Serenity area and in the library (which features a self-serve wine machine!). There are even some room service menu items that you can get for free. The third Vista-class ship is Carnival Panorama, which first sailed in late 2019.

Carnival Horizon uses technology and a bit of smarts to remedy some of passengers’ complaints on older Carnival ships. While not exactly new, there are the Carnival staples, the RedFrog Rum Bar and BlueIguana Tequila Bar, onboard the ship as well. If you’ve already had your eye on some of Carnival’s newer ships, there are plenty of reasons to choose Carnival Horizon as your host. Bathrooms on Carnival Horizon feature toilets, sinks/vanities flanked by small shelves and adequately sized showers with curtains (rather than glass or plastic doors) that stick to your body as soon as they get wet. Bathrobes and slippers are included, as are a few toiletries -- bar soaps, shampoo and shower gel. Passengers can choose from three internet packages, all of which are available for purchase up to midnight the day before boarding.

Entertainment venues and restaurants are spread over several decks, which is great for avoiding high concentrations of passengers at any single spot. The downside is that this places many rooms and suites on Carnival Horizon in the ‘cabins to avoid’ category, as some get noise from below as well as from above. Carnival Horizon is a bold, beautiful ship jam-packed with activities, dining options, and bars and lounges galore. The cruise ship is sophisticated and modern, though with Carnival's take on those concepts, which includes bold colors, bright spaces and a heavy dose of fun. With more space for stretching out indoors, plus a large balcony for kicking back outdoors, try an Ocean Suite to experience private, luxurious relaxation.
Carnival Horizon Overview
Havana cabins also have their own exclusive "Havana Experience" bathrobes and bathroom amenities. There are a number of Havana Interior cabins available on Carnival Horizon -- at 185 square feet, the same as standard interiors. But our favorite cabin on Carnival Horizon is the Ocean View Stateroom with Patio Cabana. The interior is 185 square feet and pretty much the same as the standard balcony, but the patio -- at 100 square feet -- sets it apart. The patio, which includes a chair, padded lounge chair, hammock chair and table, faces the Havana section's private lanai -- an outdoor promenade exclusively for Havana passengers. A knee-high white metal fence separates the patio from the lanai, and passengers simply need to open a gate to walk out directly onto the promenade.
As you enter, you have closet and storage space on your left and the cabin bathroom on your right. Enter further into your room and you’ll see a small desk with mirror and pull-out stool on the left. To the right is a cabinet with refrigerator, with a TV mounted above. That said, picking the right cabin can make a big difference in the enjoyment of your cruise. Even though most people spend a lot of time out and about on the ship and in port, your cabin is your home during your cruise. You definitely want a cabin that will fit your needs and budget.

It’s all supervised by friendly and fun-loving counselors who want your young teens to have the best vacation ever. Rooms of this type feature great views, a full bathroom — plus a separate washroom — and while stateroom configurations vary, certain Deluxe Ocean View rooms have space to sleep up to five cruisers. Deck 5 also is home to the ship's library, which has a solid selection of books for reading while on your cruise. This space also is the ship's game room, where you'll find a variety of board games and cards along with plush chairs and sofas. Pixels Photo Gallery also is on Deck 5, and it's gone digital.
Simply pick up the phone and order something from our tasty room service menu.
